The Royal Institute offers free 10-week philosophy courses from time to time, and this term, given current restrictions, we'll be working entirely online.

The live sessions will happen on Mondays in the evening from 25 January. .
The class meetings will be held via Zoom -- you won't need any special software; an email will login instructions will be sent to you ahead of the session.
The sessions are open to UK residents.
This course will take up some of the main themes and problems of Western Philosophy, exploring themes relating to knowledge, reality, mind, and value. It should be accessible even to those with little or no prior experience of studying philosophy.
The format will typically involve a lecture followed by some class discussion, and each week you will be given some recommended reading in advance of the class to introduce you to some of the key themes.
The sessions will be taken by Dr. Nadine Elzein, a lecturer at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford, who has previously held posts at University College Oxford, King’s College London, Southampton, Wadham College Oxford, and University College London.
